Read about the St. George's approach to guiding our eighth graders through the high school admission process
The third grade Walk-a-Thon is a St. George's tradition that puts compassion and perseverance into action.
There are many "PIRCs" of a St. George's education, of course, but social and emotional coaching and our core character values of Perseverance, Integrity, Respect and Compassion are just a few.
What Makes Us Unique?
St. George’s Episcopal School offers a co-educational program for students in preschool through eighth grade. We pride ourselves in being able to do “what is right and best for each individual child.” Through our low student-to-teacher ratio, qualified faculty and family-like atmosphere, students gain the confidence needed to achieve success in academics, social development and emotional well-being.
Where Are They Now?
St. George's Episcopal School serves students from age 1 through 8th grade. After graduating from St. George's, these talented individuals go on to the most prestigious high schools in the Greater New Orleans area. In the last 3 years, 91% of our 8th graders have been accepted into their 1st choice high school.
