Summer at StG
Ready, Set, Read!
Ready, Set, Read! is a reading program open to students entering grades 1-5. Skilled teachers will provide reading, spelling and writing instruction in a program utilizing phonological awareness and sequential, multisensory, Orton-Gillingham based approaches to teach students who struggle with the reading process or have been diagnosed with dyslexia. Each class will consist of no more than three students in a group.
Offered by St. George's Early Childhood Program, Dragon Camp is a summer day camp for children ages twelve months to entering third grade. Dragon Camp provides exciting and engaging programming including a variety of small groups, whole group and outside water play activities that prioritize the health and wellbeing of our campers. With St. Georges teachers on staff, Dragon Camp students receive access to project-based learning that focuses on the interests of the children in each classroom, as well as creative free play in a safe and caring environment.

Additional Information about After Care
In order to minimize the mixing of cohorts during After Care, children will be placed in classes according to their After Care registration. For this reason, all families who would like their child to attend After Care are required to preregister. There will be no drop-in options for After Care this year. The deadline to preregister is May 1st. Note that some cohorts may be combined to meet staffing needs, and your child may be supported by a teacher from a different cohort during his/her time in After Care.
