Summer at St. George's

Dragon Camp's dynamic programming includes a variety of enriching electives like robotics, upcycled art classes, themed programming, daily outside water play activities and targeted classroom small group activities. Several St. George’s teachers teach within the program, allowing Dragon Camp students to enjoy uninterrupted access to familiar instructors. The camp encourages personalized project-based learning and creative free play in a safe and caring environment. Two 3-week sessions are available in June and July, and weekly registration is available for students in Kindergarten-4th grade. Session 1: June 8th-26th

• Summer at StG will be closed for Juneteenth on June 19th
• Weekly registration is available for rising Kindergarten-4th grade; younger students must register for the full 3-week session

Session 2: July 6th-24th

• Weekly registration is available for rising Kindergarten-4th grade; younger students must register for the full 3-week session

Fees

• 3-week registration: $1020.00 for full-day attendance (8 a.m.-3 p.m.) or $890.00 for half-day attendance (8 a.m.-12 p.m., applicable as an option for Age 1-Pre-K3 only)
• 1-week registration: $340 for full-day attendance (8 a.m.-3 p.m., applicable as an option for Kindergarten-4th grade only)
• After Care: $300 for 5 days of After Care over a 3-week session or $180 for 3 days of After Care over a 3-week session ($160 for Session 1 due to Juneteenth). After Care registration adjusted accordingly for 1-week registrations. After Care operates from 3:30-5:30 p.m. daily.
• Deposit: There will be a nonrefundable deposit of $250 per child per session, including the $25 registration fee, if you choose to cancel your child's registration. 

Waitlist Information
Due to the popularity of our camp, some age levels will fill quickly. In this case, a waitlist prompt will be available via our registration website. We try to open additional spots as we secure staffing for the summer; should this happen, we can let you know if a spot becomes available. Note that there is no need to sign up more than once per session; please sign up only for the option that is your top preference (e.g. 5 full days, 5 half days, etc.) You will be contacted if a spot become available. We check the registration website regularly, so there is no need to send a separate email about being on the waitlist. Only children who are signed up on the waitlist will be considered when spots become available.

Register for Dragon Camp

Ready, Set, Read! is a highly-regarded local reading program open to rising Kindergarten-5th grade students in 3-week sessions in June and/or July. Skilled teachers provide reading, spelling and writing instruction using a structured program approach. The course is appropriate for students who struggle with the reading process or have been diagnosed with dyslexia. Each ninety-minute class is capped at three students to allow individualized attention. Coursework utilizes phonological awareness and a sequential, multi-sensory framework to make reading fun and accessible to all.

In the second year of this exciting new program, students explore learning through the Project Approach. This method allows campers to collaborate on real-world projects, engaging in in-depth, hands-on investigations. Through this immersive experience, students develop problem-solving skills as they actively inquire, explore and discover new concepts in a supportive, flexible environment.
