After Care & Lagniappe
St. George's After Care program is designed to ease working parents' schedules and create additional opportunities for student social interaction, enrichment and play. We have several flexible After Care options to support our StG families, and After Care runs until 6 p.m.
After Care is available from the end of the school day until 6 p.m., and is available for students age 1 through 8th grade. We do not currently offer After Care for the Poppy Infant Cottage; their day concludes at 4:30 p.m. Before Care is available between 7:30 a.m. and the start of classes, and it is included in all students' tuition.
The daily After Care schedule incorporates snacks, outside time, activities and homework help (if age-appropriate). After Care teachers provide a safe and caring environment for students, giving the students time to unwind, have fun and/or participate in our Lagniappe Program.
After Care Options
St. George's offers two After Care options:

Option A: Semester Registration – Register by the semester for anywhere between 1 and 5 days per week. This registration comes with a discounted rate of $23 per day.
- Option B: Flexible Monthly Registration - Register for After Care by the month. This options allows families to change their After Care schedule each month, as needed. The monthly registration rate is $25/day.
Lagniappe Programs
Lagniappe Program options for Early Childhood (age 2 and older), Lower School and Middle School students are coordinated through After Care are available to all students. Courses generally run from September-November or January-April and include a variety of options (examples below):
- Athletic or movement-based programs: Soccer Shots, Teddy Tennis, jiu-jitsu, yoga and more
- Artistic programs: Musical Minis, Art Club, Paper Fashion Design and more
- Logic or game-based programs: Chess, Dungeons & Dragons and more
