Parents Group & Booster Club

St. George's is a family-focused school that encourages parent and guardian involvement. The StG Parents Group, inclusive of the school's Booster Club, welcomes the StG community to participate in the life of the school by attending events and volunteering whenever possible. 

The Parents Group

The StG Parents Group is a volunteer organization that holds several community-building and fundraising events each year. Events include Knight at City Park, Sidewalk Side (Mardi Gras) and the Parents Group Soirée—a party and auction held annually—among others. The Parents Group also functions as a school service organization by supporting the school through volunteerism, hosting faculty and staff appreciation events and other activities, directing the monies raised through fundraisers to further support the school. The Parents Group holds open meetings throughout the year. 

The Booster Club

The St. George’s Booster Club is a sub-organization of the Parents Group with a goal to support and enhance the school, especially athletics, through fundraising, community-building and spirit-promoting events and activities, as well as promote parent camaraderie through social gatherings. Examples include Field Day grilling, Movie Night and our annual crawfish boil. Booster Club membership is open to all parents, alumni and faculty/staff of St. George’s.
