Pivotal by Design

Ready for High School... and the World

Eighth Grade at St. George's is pivotal by design. Facilitated by a collaboration between our Director of Middle School and Resource Services teams, the StG capstone year is dedicated to each student’s mastery of their individual learning styles and goals. Our eighth graders develop a keen eye for personal growth by placing a sharp focus on continually building independence, confidence and self-advocacy — skills necessary for success not only in high school but the world outside of the walls of St. George's.

Throughout the year, students collaborate with their Success Team (a cohesive team comprised of the student, their parents, teachers, advisors and StG administrators) to consider, apply to and ultimately select the high school that best suits their needs and future goals.
