Lynn Adams is a clinical psychologist. Through both her private practice and an affiliation with Crane Rehabilitation Center she consults with families and teachers, gives workshops, and writes for both academic and popular media. Lynn first worked with STG teachers and families in 2001, and became an STG parent in 2010. During her time as a stay-at-home parent Lynn served as Used Uniform Committee Chair for 5 years. She also served on the Soiree Committee and as a room parent. She graduated from Yale University and earned her graduate degrees at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Yale Child Study Center.
Alex Breckinridge is a lawyer and partner in the New Orleans law firm of Jones Walker LLP, where he specializes in securities and corporate governance litigation, as well as advising clients on compliance with anti-corruption laws, trade sanctions and export/import regulations. Alex is a St. George's alumnus, graduating in the class of 1995. He and his wife Kirsten have two children at St. George's in the Lower School.
Gia DiLeo-Emerson is the founder and owner of Green To Go, a local healthy food restaurant with two locations. Gia, originally from California, was a trial lawyer in Chicago prior to her move to New Orleans. Green to Go has provided healthy food options for several StG events including Faculty Appreciation events, the Holiday Book Fair, and the Spring Dinner.
Gia and her husband, Dr. Noah Emerson, are the parents of Asher and Auden, 3rd and 5th grades, respectively, at St. George’s.
Lauren Flower is a stay-at-home parent to her three children and step-daughter and is also an active volunteer. Lauren's professional background includes marketing and public relations work for local government and private businesses, as well as residential real estate development. She maintains a consulting business to continue work in these areas part-time. Lauren has served as a St. George's room parent (2017), chair of the Soiree' Auction (2017) and Vice President of the Parents Group (2018-19). In addition to serving as a trustee, Lauren is also a member of the school's Marketing Committee. Lauren and her husband Ken's son, Hank, is in second grade at St. George's.
Dr. Veronica Gillispie-Bell is a Board-Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist who practices at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Gillispie-Bell also serves as the Director of Quality for Women’s Services for the Ochsner Health System and is the Medical Director of the Louisiana Perinatal Quality Collaborative and the Pregnancy Associated Mortality Review. She also serves as the co-lead for the Ochsner Physician Diversity and Inclusion Council and is on the Ochsner Xavier Center of Health Equity steering committee. She has received many accolades and awards for her clinical and community efforts. She is married to Troy Bell, Esquire and is the mother to 7-year old Gregory Crenshaw, Jr who is in 2nd grade at St. George's.
Sue Gilly is a retired educator and former Head of Lower School at St. George's. She recently served on the Search Committee for our new Head of School. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board for the Chartwell Center, a local nonprofit that provides educational and clinical services to children and adults with autism.
Alice Herrington is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, young adults and families in her private practice.
She has most recently served as one of the chairs of the 2019 Soiree and will be serving as the Vice President of the Parents Group this year. She and her husband Drew are the parents of a St. George's fifth grade student.
Eric Hoffman is President and Chief Operating Officer of Hoffman Media, LLC, a leading special interest media company with offices in Birmingham, AL, and New Orleans, LA, where he oversees the daily operations of the company while also leading its strategic business development efforts. Prior to joining the company in March 2007, Eric worked in New York as an investment banker, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions advisory and public and private equity offerings. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama, where he earned his B.S. in Finance. In addition, he is a graduate of Stanford University’s Professional Publishing Course. He and his wife, Katie, are parents to a St. George's Middle School student.
Dr. Joseph Kreutziger graduated from St. Martin's Episcopal School in New Orleans before attending the University of the South at Sewanee, where he received his BA in English. He holds a Masters Degree and Doctorate in English and American Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Kreutziger started his career in education at St. George's in 1993, teaching English and Physical Education in the Middle School. He now serves as St. George's Head of School and is a member of the Board's Executive Committee.
Krystil Borrouso Lawton, an attorney, is the author of Louisiana Supreme Court Reports, a monthly digest of all opinions issued by the Louisiana Supreme Court. Subscribers to the digest include attorneys, judges, state agencies, law schools, the Louisiana Law Library, the Louisiana House and Senate, and all Louisiana courts of appeal. She also co-authors the Daily Commentary for the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit (covering Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi) and serves as its social media editor, “tweeting” on behalf of the Bar Association about every published Fifth Circuit opinion. Krystil is currently serving St. George’s as interim Director of Development. Last year she was President of the Parents Group. She and her husband, Joe, have three children. The youngest is an eighth grader at St. George’s.
Jonathan Leit is a real estate developer and urban planner, and has worked as the Director of the New Orleans office of Alembic Community Development since 2007. In this role he redevelops historic buildings and vacant properties in under-invested neighborhoods to create affordable housing, nonprofit facilities and commercial spaces. He is currently serving as the Chair of St. George's Facilities & Master Planning Committee. Jonathan and his wife, Jennifer Coleman, have two daughters in the Lower School.
Anne Michaels is the President of ARB Meetings and Events, a meeting planning firm that specializes in large scale association conferences and corporate meetings across the US. She is also the Vice President of Business Development at Focus Medical Communications, a medical education company based in Parsippany, NJ. Anne currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board and co-chairs both the Development Committee and the Head of School Transition Committee. Anne and her husband, Wes, are the parents of St. George's first and second graders.
Leon Nowalsky is a telecommunications attorney specializing in federal and state regulatory matters and mergers and acquisitions between regulated public utilities. He is managing partner of Nowalsky and Gothard APLLC and serves on the St. George's Board of Trustees as the Treasurer. Leon and his wife Ava are parents of a St. George's graduate.
Joshua Provosty is currently Vice President / Commercial Relationship Manager at Red River Bank. He is an eighteen-year veteran of the Commercial Banking Sector, following in his father James V. Provosty's footsteps (a 40 year veteran of this industry locally and nationally). In addition to serving St. George's Episcopal School as a trustee, he is also a member of the school's finance committee, and he has previously served as a member of the Athletic Committee. He and his wife are parents to a St. George's Middle School student.
Nina Pugh is a lawyer and served as General Counsel to Planet Beach Franchising Corporation, an international franchisor based in Marrero, LA, where she handled regulatory compliance, contracts and franchisee disputes in litigation and arbitration. She has been involved in St. George's programming in many ways, having served as a Room Parent, Parents Group President and Vice President and has hosted various events in her home. Nina and her husband Larry have three children at St. George's in the Lower School and Middle School divisions.
T. Gregory Schafer is a partner with the law firm of Schafer & Schafer, L.L.P. His practice areas include insurance defense, appellate advocacy and general civil litigation. He is a past president of the Louisiana Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Greg has served on the Board of Trustees for seven years and was the Chairman of the Board from 2016-2018. He also was a member of the search committee that named St. George’s new Head of School in 2018. His son graduated from St. George’s in 2019.
Cathy Schieffelin is the founder of Wild Times Education Programs, an innovative program to introduce children and adults to wildlife conservation through interactive and hands-on activities. Cathy also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Prior to getting her MPH, Cathy served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Comoros Islands, where she met her husband, John. Cathy and John have three children, including a St. George's 8th grader. Cathy has been an active member of the St. George's community, serving as co-chair of the Charleston Wrap fundraiser for the past two years. She is also a past President of the Parents Group.
Nicole is a Senior Pilates Instructor at Uncle Joe's Pilates Studio. She has served as a St. George's room parent (2016), class captain for the St. George's Annual Fund (2017), co-chair of the Annual Fund for two years (2018,2019), a member of the St. George's development committee (2018, 2019), and development chair for the 2020-2021 school year. Nicole and her husband, Josh, have a son, Julian, in 3rd grade at St. George's.
Carli Beckett Simpson is a tax attorney who is taking a break from full-time practice and currently serving in an of-counsel position at a local law firm that focuses on estate planning, business tax planning, and tax credit transactions. She enjoys being involved in various nonprofit boards and committees in New Orleans. Carli and her husband, Kevin, are the proud parents of Beckett and Charlie, PK4 and PS2, at StG.
Laura Wilt is the System Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Ochsner Health System. Laura joined Ochsner in 2013 as the AVP of Clinical Systems and was promoted to the Chief Information Officer in 2016. She served last year as the Kindergarten class captain for the Annual Fund for St. George's, the school’s annual giving campaign. Laura and her husband, Jonathan, have their two children at St. George’s in the Lower School.
